residents. staff and volunteers. ar-

assorted cold meats. salads and pie. -
.Atter supper there vas opportunity
to fish or for a'canoe ride. With the:
pond.being quite sfialtow..the,grcat-
cot danger. was .running aground. _
N}any residents. enjoyed .sitting by
the water's edge and watching. the.
turtles top- their heads up to grab .
pieces- of bread. This trip was such "
a hit we mas to to fit another in
before summer's end. ' - -
A big thank you to the 61untccrs-
• who -helped prepare tables, chairs.
and fishing equiptnent the night- be-
lt* as well as catchinga supply of
minnows for bait. Thank you to
. those who assisted at the picnic and
Ron Walker and Rose Erb for help-
ing. with the canoeing and fishing.'.

past week. . -
Mclha England and granddaugh-
ter Sherrie Steele were visitors Fri-
day with Mary Davis. Sherrie is
Mrs. Davis's Godchild and also
was in the cast of Wizard of Oz at
Huron Country Playhouse this sum-
mer. •

St. Patrick's "'congregation en-
joyed evening prayer service on
Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. with_
the Sunday 'School children _taking
the service. Crystal Davis Jed the
service from the Book -of Alterna-
tive Services. . -
The children's focus was given
by Courtney MacGillivray "Feed-
ing the Five Thousand", based on
the Holy Gospel. The children's
choir sang "Angels Watchin' Over
- Me." Harley Davis. Katie -Scarlett,
Caleb and ,Corbin. MacGillivray
-gave the scripture readings. Fol-
lowing the message Starr Davis led
in prayer. Travis Davis presented
the offering at The Lord's Table.
There will he no service at St.
Patrick's on August 3 as the church
is closed for vacation time.
