How excited I am for the summer like weather. I love BBQ
season, campfire treats, easy meals to prepare and, how
much simpler it is to entertain. In the next few months I
hope you will enjoy a variety of yummy recipes. To start:
Pasta Salad
8 oz. to 2 cups pasta (use rotini, shell, bows or elbows)
1 /2 cup cc.)king vegetable oil
1/- cup white vinegar
2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregan'
1 garlic clove minced
1 /2 cup chopped green onion
T/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tsp. parsley flakes
1 /2 tsp. salt
1 /4 tsp. pepper
1 /4 cup peas
1 /2 cup cubed cheddar cheese
Cook pasta as directed. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Mix next 10 ingredients in a bowl. Add To pasta. Add peas
and cheese. Toss. Cover and chill 4 hours. Stir well before
serving: I double this usually. So good! Enjoy!
