Area on Monday afternoon. Although the fish weren't biting;
de Lange was enjoying the perfect summer weather. .

Parish are to be at the church on
July 14 at 7:15 a.m. Parents are to
be there again at night to pick them ..
up -at 7:30 p.m. -

• the July draw 'Trip of the•Month by
the Chamber of Commerce. The
couple willbe staying overnight at
the"Stagewest Hotel" in Mississau-
ga. They will enjoy 'dinner- and
theatre on- Saturday night; , and
brunch on Sunday; Next month will
be the last -draw:

An Old Time Fiddler's Jamboree

until 7 p.m. A buffet supper will be
served, between -5-7 p.m.
On Friday night a- dance in the
arena at 9 p.m. will feature -MO-
, '.art's' Melody Makers. Advance
tickets are $5 --per person or $6 at
the door. - •
The parade en Saturday starts at
1-1:30 .a:m. with the Aherne "Rural
Challenge". Anyone,.wanting to be,
held in -Cromarty church Church in',London on-July.6.

Presbyterian Church on Sunday.: with. Rev. Kevin Steeper 'officiating.•
Guest speaker at the service was Debbie 'Doibear, a -student at Knox -Col- -_
lege: She also told the children's story ; ;
Special' music for the anniversary Was provided by a joint chdir from
Hibbert United and Crimiarty Presbyterian churches, accompanied on the.
:'• organ by -Betty LouNorns, and -on -the piano by Carol -Ann Scott. -
- Five young people affirmed their baptism vows and were welcomed into
the church by Rev. Steeper and,the Session.
They -are Kim Bertens Tessa Dill.Lisa Pullman, Ben Allen and Trevor
'Elliott. ,
.. Baskets of peonies decorated'the church for the service. A timeof fel=
lowship and lunch -followed the service.
-- Pat, Joanne,- Mathew and Kelly Donovan, Harare: Zimbabwe, are 'visit-
ing -with Pat's -family in New Brunswick andJoanne's family in'the Staffs area.
-A large, crowd. -attended the pork barbecue at Croniarty, ball park on
Thursday evening.

A grade 13 graduation barbecue
was held on June 30 in honor of
Tina Hoffman, outdoors at the

ly Hoffman. .

from Friday to Monday with
daughter Rosie . Rothenberg, help-
ing with granddaughter Kac.ey,
