Pogo'
WEEK
Beginning next week the Zurich
Citizens News will become part of the
Times -Advocate, Huron County's largest
circulation weekly newspaper.
,The decision was made by J.W. Eedy Publications presi-
dent Lorne Eedy who cited rising, publication costs, declining
circulation of The Citizen and increasing circulation of the T -A
as being the main reasons for making the change. The most re-
cent circulation figures show the majority of Zurich and area
residents are already taking the T -A, showing an obvious
preference for the larger newspaper.
Readers and advertisers will both benefit. The Times -
Advocate will devote enough space to provide good news
coverage for the Zurich community. Advertisers will be able to
reach thousands more homes with the T -A when they promote
their goods and services.
Subscribers to The Citizens News will automatically
begin receiving the Times -Advocate this week. People who are
presently subscribing to both the Citizens News and the T -A
will have the remaining portion added to the T -A subscription.
Because the Times -Advocate is published
Wednesday, please note our advertising
deadline is Monday's at 2 p.m.
