Funeral services were
held from the D.J. Robb
funeral home on Friday July
31 at 1 p.m. followed by
cremation.
Jim was born in Hensall,
son of the late Dr. and Mrs.
A.R. Campbell. Dr.
Campbell was a veterinarian
in Hensall for many years
prior to moving. to Guelph.
Jim was a veteran of World
War II and was well liked by
all who knew him.
In memory of James Ram-
say Campbell C.A. the office
of Holbrook and Partners,
Chartered Accountant was
closed Friday for the funeral
July 31, 1981. Jim was a
friend and founding partner
of the firm.

A number of friends from
Hensall and area attended
the ninetieth birthday party
for Mrs. Mabel Glenn in Ex-
eter on Sunday to con-
gratulate her and extend
greetings.
"Live All You Can" was
the title of the message at
Golden
Glimpses
Now that the wheaffields
are being cleaned off, the fall
season seems to be more
imminent. However, before
the last holiday of the
summer, there will be one
more big event in the
community.
The Zurich Bean festival
will take place on August
22nd and the quilt we have on
display here will be raffled
off. Tickets are on sale at the
office or from any member of
the auxiliary. Proceeds for
the work of the Blue Water
Rest Home Auxiliary.
If anyone has "leggs"
containers tucked away on a
shelf someplace, we would
appreciate them for our
workers in the Tuckshop.
Either the white ones
or colored would be
welcome.
We welcome two new
residents to the home from
the Maplewoods Apart-
ments, Mr. Otwell Todd and
Mr. Harold Barry.
Residents who have been
out visiting during the past
week were Mrs. Agnes
Siliery, Mrs. Jessie Brock,
Mrs. Inez McEwen and Mrs.
Josephine Thompson.
Mrs. Mabel Jaques has
returned from the hospital
after undergoing eye
surgery.,
Bingo was played on
Friday evening, slides were
also shown after which
refreshments were served.
On Saturday afternoon,
some of our residents
enjoyed watching the
parade at the Dash -
wow Friedsburg Days.
The Sunday evening
chapel service was con-
ducted by Rev. Harley
Moore of Grand Bend United
Church. Miss Idella Gable
presided at the organ
during the service.

Matthew chapter twenty-
two. Life is to be celebrated,
not used. Life is not to be
hoarded but shared, he said
because life is a gift from

Finkbeiner attended a
homecoming at Zion United
Church in Crediton. On July
8, the residents attended a
picnic at Komoka Nursing
Home.
On July 23, they visited the
African Lion Safari which
they really enjoyed and are
anxious to go again.
Today the residents

Fanshawe Park, London.
Louise Mitchell spent
August 2 at Crediton with
her son and family.

her home last week.

residence in the Taylor
dwelling.

have returned from a plea-
sant vacation.

home after a pleasant vaca-
tion to Western Canada.

Kathy Neilands, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Neilands,
Hensall, and Terry Luther, soh of Mr. Ivan Luther, Exeter and
Mrs. Marlene Bartlett, Grand Bend, were united in marriage
at St. Boniface Church, Zurich, on July 11. Father Mooney of-
ficiated the ceremony and Linda Vanneste did the readings.
The matron of honour was JoAnne Chapman. Bridesmaids
were Tracey Luther and Suzy Neilands. Best man was Mike
Gibbs. Mike Neilands and Fraser Boyle ushered the guests.
The couple will be residing in Calgary, Alberta.
