Golden Glimpses
Another month has all but
gone, and the days are
getting noticeably shorter.
Soon we will be getting back
into our fall schedules.
Perhaps you have noticed
the appliqued quilt on
display in the home. Tickets
are available either at the
office or from any of the
members of the auxiliary
and the draw will be made
during the Zurich Bean
Festival Saturday, August 22
nd. All proceeds from
auxiliary projects goes
toward resident comforts.
The members and all
interested ladies of the
community are reminded of
the auxiliary Meeting to be
held on Tuesday, August 4th
at 8:00 p.m. in the board
room of the home. This will
be an important meeting
dealing with Bean Festival
activities.
The sympathy of residents
and staff is extended to the
family of the late Mr.
William Rarich.

out visiting during the week

The Sunday evening
chapel service was con-
ducted by Mr. Edgar Cud -
more of Exeter. Mrs. Grace
Martin presided at the organ
during the service.
MR. AND MRS. GERALD WILFRED WEIDO
Janet Gail Kerslake and Gerald Wilfred Weido were united in
marriage on June 20 at the Elimville United Church by Rev.
Stanley McDonald and Pastor Ross Hargreaves. The bride is
the (laughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn Kerslake, RR 1
Woodham, and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Weido, RR 1 Zurich are
parents of the groom. Karen Snow was matron of honour for
her sister, and bridesmaids were Shirley Zanbergen, Hensall,
Catherine Weido, Zurich, and Brenda Barham, Brampton.
Michelle Snow • ✓as flowergirl and Christopher Weido was
ringbearer. The best man was Patrick Bedard, and guests
were ushered by Paul Kerslake, Ray Weido, and Steven
Kerslake. After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Northern
Ontario, the couple will be residing at 273 Huron Street, Ex-
