Perce Rowe was principal of Zurich Continuation school 1930-33, amd 1934-37. Mrs. Rowe, the former Euloine Geiger, attended Zurich Public and Con- tinuation school. Pearce and Eulo spend the winters in Florida since retirement in 1968, and find enjoyment in world travel at other times. They have recently returned from a three-week tour of China. Places visited were Canton, Shanghi, Soochow, Nanking and Peking. Trips were taken from each city into the surrounding countries to visit communes (collective farms) and historical spots. In the cities, factories, clincs, schools and workers' homes were visited. Finally there was the opportunity to walk on the Great Wall of China. A trip to China is a memorable experience, as more than two hundred coloured slides will show.
