Ray and Janice Hartman
recently spent four days in
Toronto attending a deeper
weekend for marriage en-
counter that was held at the
Avion, Motor -Inn.
Mrs. Verlyn Fisher was
the delegate for the officers
convention of the federated
Women's Institutes of
Ontario that was held from
May 5 to 7 at the University
of Waterloo. She reported
having a nice time as well as
it being informative.
Figure skating club
A lovely evening was had
by members of the figure
skating club along with their
parents last Tuesday to
mark the end of of another
season.
It began with a dinner of
fried chicken, chips and
salads which everyone en-
joyed.
Trophies were handed out
to several of the children
who worked very hard
passing tests. Everyone
present received a gift.
The Linda Sweeney award
was won this year by Sandra
Daters for being the most
helpful person during the
lessons.

Winner of the 50-50 draw
worth $455.00 went to Kay
Thompson of Grand Bend.

Howard Deters, Carol
Steckle and Linda Anderson.
