Seniors plan June bus trip Zion Lutheran church voters met Monday, April 20 and elected the officers brought in by the nominating committee as follows: past - president, Ron Merner; Dashwood Mrs. Irvin Rader president, Hubert Miller; vice' -president, Wilfred Becker; elder, Harold Stire; Sunday School superinten- dent, Earl Keller; assistant, Harvey Beierling; trustees, Alphonse Denomme and Howard Datars; finance board, Roy Gibson, Arnold Becker, Dave Rader, Bill Vandeworp; mission treasurer, John Hayter; general finance secretary, Murray Keller; stewardship, Ron Merner, Charles Martene; education, Robert Boogemans, Robert Hayter; evangelism, Delmar Miller, Aaron Restemayer, Glen Restemayer; secretary, Harry Hayter. Color at Men's dub At the final supper meeting for Dashwood Men's Club for the season wives and friends were guests. Friday, April 24. DIVISION WINNERS — Accepting the trophy for the south division winners in South Huron Hockey league was Jim Laird, captain of the Forest Boyds (left). The north trophy was accepted by Hensall Sherwoods captain Jim Ferguson. Anthony Martens presided for the business and welcom- ed everyone. Guest speaker, color analyst, Ethel Harper, was introduced by Ron Merner. Her topic was Color by Des- ig n and personal color analysis: Hubert Miller presented. each lady with a complimen- tary Guiness wine glass. Dancing was to the music of the Footnotes. The 50-50 draw was made with proceeds going to the medical centre. Winners were, Jeff Taylor, Ortha Baker and Sandra Realer. Seniors plan bus trip Dashwood Senior citizens met Monday, April 20 with 39 present. Mrs. Pearl Miller, president, dealt with the business. A donation was made to the treasury by Mrs. Louis Weigand who made doll clothers and sold them. The Zone ,rally will be April 28 at Vanastra with registration at 10:30 a.m. A bus trip to Frankenmuth is planned for June 14. Anyone interested please call 237-3554. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Rader's group will be in charge of the next meeting. Mrs. Mervyn Tieman's group was in charge of the program. Mrs. Katie Schenk gave a reading. Lunch and oards followed Senior choirs gather The senior choir of Zion Lutheran church entertained the choir of Calvary United church Tuesday, April 21. Bunco was played with winners, Charles and Florence Martene; low, Mrs. Ken McCrae and Melvin Stade; lucky chairs, Miss Barbara Laing, Idella Gabel and Harry Hoffman. Personals Karen Ford, Calgary, and Marilyn Ford, Edmon- ton, vacationed with their parents and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ford. Easter celebrations were held Sun- day for all the families. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Rader were in Waterloo, Thursday, and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Weiberg. Garnet, who was very sick is well on the road to recovery.
