Old Tyme
held at H
Old Tyme Music was held
in normal care sitting room
on Monday afternoon with
Mrs Elsie Henderson at the
piano. We had some lively
tunes accompanied by Elsie
and our residents playing the
rhythm band instruments.
Tuesday evening our
volunteer supper was held at
Huronview with a social time
before a turkey supper
served by the kitchen staff.
We were entertained by
Howard Smith and his or-
chestra who will start the
first of May as one of our
regular Old Tyme Music
entertainers. Mr. and Mrs.
Mann from Listowel assisted
Mr. Smith.
We were fortunate to have
two groups at the home,
Sunday. Sunday morning,
Anglican members from
Clinton served ground north
ladies tea and cupcakes.
Sunday afternoon, 25
members from Zurich
Mennonite church toured the
building singing on each
floor to the residents en-
joyment.
Wednesday afternoon the
Over 90 Club met on first
north sitting room to enjoy
the music of Mr. Frank
Bissett. Tea and cookies
were served at the close.
Also on Wednesday af-
ternoon, some of our blind
residents had a meeting in
the craft room.

They will be missed, and
Cecil in particular as he was
a well known and loved

playing his violin, he was in

well as preaching when we
needed him.

Bantams defeated

Zurich bantams were

The fourth game returned
the teams to Zurich. Neither
team had yet won on "their
home ice, and the April 2
game wasn't to break the
pattern. Howick took it 4-0,
scoring early and late, in the
first and third periods.
The teams were tied two
games apiece going into Sun-
day's final. Zurich had 'the
initiative in taking the lead,
but Howick was always ty-
ing it up. Both teams had ex-
changed two home -ice
losses.
The fifth. game was also in
Zurich. Lowick started out
strong with three joals in
the first period. Bob Snell
broke the Howick scoring
