The Zurich Buckeyes have
taken a three garne lead
over the Hensall Sherwoods
in the championship round of
the South Huron in-
termediate hockey league..
The defending champion
Buckeyes scored a 5-3 vic-
tory in Hensall Thursday
night and came back to win.

Zurich won the third game
of the best -of -seven series,
Tuesday, by again defeating
the Sherwoods 5-3.
The Tuesday night score
sheet reads . like a carbon
copy of the first two games,
as Zurich defeated Hensall.
Gerald Weido, off passes
from Mike Clarke and Kim
McKinnon, started the scor-
ing early for Zurich. It was
another high-spirited game,
as penalties began early too.

the scoring for the
Buckeyes.
At 9:20, Pat Bedard made
the score 2-0 as he hit the
Hensall net on a pass from
defenceman Kris Bedard.
Kerry Bedard registered
his second goal of the game
neat the 13 mark
Less than a minute later,
the Sherwoods hit the
scoreboard for the first time.
Jamie Caldwell was the
successful shooter on a pass
from Rick ingram.
Before the first 20 minutes
ended, the Zurich three goal
margin was regained as
captain Kim McKinnon hit
the mark with the assist
going to Mike Clarke.
Each team was able to
score one goal in the middle
period
Rick Ingram was the
Hensall goal getter with
assists being credited to
Jamie Caldwell and goalie
Dave Holmes while Steve

The only goal of the third

handed out.
