More research

that more farmers get in-
volved in projects and
research.
To speed this suggestion,
each director will be asked
to present at least one
written project report from
his own township. -
Pat Lynch added, "You
don't have to do the project
yourselves, just report on
one in your, area."
Considerable discussion
took place on the format of
the Huron Soil and Crop an-
nual meeting.
Several directors felt
despite lenghty meetings,
not enough time was spent
on discussing reports and
projects
Most directors agreed that
the annual banquet was
very popular and would be
continued, but, additional
sessions may be set up for
project and trials dis-
cussions.
Pat Lynch said the Huron
annual banquet was the only
one that he knew of that was
a sellout year after year.

A motion Alma
Westlake on behalf of the
arena board, was brought
before the Chamber that
they might help support an
idea of showing movies in
the arena. The films cost
$200 and the admission may
be $1.00 for adults and 50t for
children. Mrs. Westlake's
proposal also included the
Chamber taking over the
showing of the movies and
using it to raise funds for
Chamber activities. The
Chamber felt that their sup-
port of the summer
playround was enough sup-
port and that they would not
help fund the movie show-
ing.
For the next meeting the
