Staff photo Many visitors over holiday Richard, Janet and Laura Regier of Calgary spent the holidays with their parents, Mr. & Mrs. Lee Regier and Mr. & Mrs. Morris Webb. Richard returned home by plane on Monday but Janet will be staying for another week in order to attend her sister's wedding on Saturday when Sandra Webb and John Shaw will be married in London. Joey, Sandra and Melanie Overholt of _ London spent Zurich Caramel Sweeney from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Overholt and sister and brothers. Gary and Theresa Egan and children of Utica, Michigan spent Christmas with her parents and family, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Hart- man. George Farwell of B.C. visited for a few days during the holidays with his father, Clarence Farwell of the Maple Woods Apartments and his aunt, Mrs. Marcella Dietrich. Our sympathy is extended to Henry Becker who's brother Edmund of Dash- wood passed away and was buried on December 31. And to Cecile Meidinger who's sister Luella Fisher of Goderich passed away and was buried on January 2. She was also a brother to Bill Bedour. Mr. and Mrs. Clem Bedard Of Windsor called on his brother Mr. and Mrs. Percy Bedard Sr. last Saturday and were dinner guests with their niece and family, Carmel and Jerome Sweeney. Earl and Anne Flaxbard ' had sixteen for Christmas dinner at their place on December 25 with some staying overnight. Dinner guests on Sunday December 28 at the home of Nap and Laurene Corriveau were dear freind Lance Reed of St. John's Newfoundland along with his mother from London. Also visited with Mr. & Mrs. Doc Horn and the Sweeney family in the evening. Jules and Helen Corriveau of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan spent a week at Christmas time with his brother, Wilfred and Beatrice Corriveau. Also Ted and Sarah Robson, Windsor spent from New Years Day to the following Saturday with his parents and relatives. Mrs. Theresa Hartman ,rang in the new year at the home of her son, and daughter-in-law in Lucan being Cyrille and Anne Hartman and family. Mrs. Margaret Kalbfleisch spent the holidays with her children in Toronto and Burlington. Richard and Cathy Breakey returned home to Edmonton by plane on Saturday January 3 after an enjoyable two week holiday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Breakey Zurich and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stephens in London. Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Corriveau of the Spruce Villa Apartments spent a week in London over the holidays visiting with their family and relatives. They also went to Windsor for a day with Edna and Pete Milne of Komoka where they called on Nor's brothers, Clem and Nelson Bedard and Aunt Rachel. They were . dinner guests with Sister Eugenie Bedard at the Pines In Chatham. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mumaw and family. and Miss Esther Steckle all of Ohio spent several days during the Christmas celebration with their mother, Mrs. Seleda Steckle and other family members from Toronto, New Hamburg and the local area. Best wishes for a speedy recovery are extended to; Bill Lawrence who has been a patient in University Hospital London for several weeks now, and to Jake Haberer who is in St. Joseph's Hospital. Mrs. Edna Eickmeir is a patient in South Huron, Exeter. Recently returning home from the hospital were, Miss Olive O'Brien and Mrs. Alice Haberer. Celebrate anniversary Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Corriveau who celebrated their 33rd wed- ding . anniversary on December 27. Congratulations are also in order to Mr. and Mrs. Pete Durcharme of RR 3, Bayfield who recently celebrated their 60th wed- ding anniversary. Michael Denomme of Calgary son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Denomme spent the past two weeks visiting with parents , frith& ' and relatives. The family of Mrs. Lydia Regier held Christmas together on Boxing Day at St. Peters parish hall, St. Joseph's with 125 in at- tendance. (All her children, in-laws and grandchildren.) Everyone enjoyed a delicious hot meal, and Santa coming to hand out gifts. Those present came from Pembroke, Toronto, Niagara Falls, London and Zurich area. Tuesday dinner guests with Jerome and Carmel Sweeney and family were, Mike and Kate Moriarty and three children along with the latter's brother and his wife, Tim and Maureen Inwood who were spending three weeks with them from England. Marc and Cindy Gelinas and two children of London spent from Christmas Day to the following Sunday with his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Mozart Gelinas Sr. and visiting other relatives. Mr. & Mrs. George Brunton, London spent New Years with Mr. & Mrs. Hubert Schilbe. Miss Donna Merner, Toronto spent the Christmas season with her parents Mr. & Mrs. Arnold Merner. Mr. & Mrs. Hubert Schilbe received a call from their son Wayne Christmas eve. Wayne is in Calgary, Alberta and was unable to be home for Christmas. Mr. & Mrs. Arnold Merner treated members of their family to Christmas dinner at the Dominion Hotel on Saturday. Thirty-four family .members and friends sat down to a delicious turkey dinner with all the trim- mings. After dinner, the evening was spent at their home where gifts were . exchanged.
