First the mice get the
spice to make a cake or a
pie. Then they lie there
heads down to sleep until
midnight. Oh! What a sight!

Christmas day is when the
whole family gets together
and has alot of fun. They
sing songs around the piano.
After that all the children go
out and play in the snow.
When they come in they go
around the fire and drink hot
chocolate. When they are
warm they have a big dinner
of turkey, wine, potatoes,
peas. milk, dressing and
gravy. Then after they have
desert. they open presents
and the children play with
their toys and then the
grown-ups drink and have a
good time.

The real meaning
By Jim Thuu
Grade 6
St. Boniface School
To little ones, Christmas is
Santa Claus, presents, toys,
and candy. But have we ever
thought of what Christmas
really is? Christmas is a
time of giving and sharing,
yes. But it is also a time to
think of the birth of our
saviour. Jesus Christ. He

could have been born, rich
and in a big house, wih all
the conveniences of wealthy
people. But he chose to be
poor. and born in a stable
where animals eat and
sleep. Some people wouldn't
think of it. But our Lord
chose to do it this way. So,
when Christmas comes,
think 'not only of presents,
but of Jesus too.
