ZPS operetta Everyone is invited to see the Christmas Operetta at the Zurich Public School on Thursday evening December. 18th at 7:30 p.m. (There is also a showing on Wednes- day, December 17th at 1:30 in the afternoon). This year the students from kindergarten to grade six will be presenting., "The Choir Boy That Couldn't Sing" accompanied by members of the junior choir. (A silver collection at the door). Christmas get-together The tenants of the Maple Woods Apartments' had a 'Christmas dinner in the common room last Wednes- day with a hot turkey dinner and all the trimmings which was catered by Mrs. Howard Finkbeiner. The entertain- ment was provided by Beatrice Rader on the organ, Meda O'Brien on piano and Joe Boland on the violin. Also celebrated were the December • birthday of Mrs. Dunn, Leonard DeBus and Charlie Fowler. Personals Congratulations to Lionel Wilder Jr. and Vicki Baker who were married on Satur- day at §t.
