As a result of input provided the political parties and other groups, plans for the construction of a generating plant at St. Joseph have been stopped. He said if the plant would have been constructed the area's white bean industry would have been destroyed. Riddell agreed with Bob Fisher that small businessmen should be provided with greater in- centives such as a tax break. In another query by. One of the most active persons Monday night was Zurich reeve Fred Haberer whose candidacy for Huron County Warden has been made that mudh more dif- ficult by the elections. Now that the political dust has settled,Haberer can determine the persons he must see as he attempts to become the first Warden front Zurich. Fred -is a good man and would serve both Zurich and the county well if he was elected to the top county job. We'll all know December 9.
