Jeff if you're reading this, please don'tget read as you realize and the; writer realizes that you have about three inches in height and 40 pounds in weight on the Writer. In 'other words Jeff you're a nice guy. 'What .proved to .be the catalyst for this: portion of the -column was an incident Wednesday night following the victory of the Dominion Tavern in the final. Team pictures are usually a pretty ordinary affair but one of the younger O'Briens in the community decided a railroad tie which acts as curbing in the community park would be more impressive as a bat than the real item. The bearded one persisted in his "battyness" with his cohorts telling him "put the damn thing. down". "No, says O'Brien as the team which is lined up moves away from the former -hockey referee. On past occasions Jeff has shown he is his own man on the baseball diamond as demonstrated by his driv- ing abilities on the tractor which dragged the diamond during the rec league's fastball tournament this past summer. As the writer said, Jeff, you really are a nice guy so the next time you take to the ice for the Buckeyes andlire a shot at a guy holding a camera we'll all know it was justanaccident.
