Women, Human Rights alid
the Constitution - a question
and answer pamphlet on the
federal government's
proposed Charter of Human
Rights.
"The wording in the
proposed new Charter of
Rights is almost the same as
that in the 1960 Canadian Bill
of Rights • and that wording
has not helPed women at all
in the past. If we are going to
have a new Charter - and this
may be the best way to
protect women - let's suggest
the right wording. We won't
get another chance for 100
years", said CACSW
President, Doris Anderson.

which includes a tear -off
coupon to be returned to the
CACSW in Ottawa, asks the
federal government for
specific guarantees of
equality and urges the
government to appoint
