Mr. Maxwell L. Forsythe
of Fort Lauderdale Florida
passed away suddenly this
week while visiting in
Detroit. The Forsythes were
former residences of St.
Joseph's for the past .35
years. Having sold their
cottage . two years ago, they
spent the past two summers
in a cottage owned by
Gordon Smith.

attended the funeral on
Saturday of the former's
great. grandmother, '92 year
old Mrs. Florence Bridle in
Goderich.

and Cecelia Smith on the
arrival of their fifth child a
boby girl born on Thursday
October 2 . in London at
Victoria Hospital. Grand-
parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Percy Bedard Sr.

Helene Regier of Mt. Car-
mel. The original Matron of
Honour and Best Man were
also present; Grace and Ray
Ducharme. A reception was
held at the Rec Centre in
Exeter, which was arranged
for them by their six
children.
Dennis and Loraine Regier
spent last week in Sudbury
visiting with her brother
Dennis Contant who is a
patient in the hospital there,
(Sudbury General) and is in
critical condition.
On Friday the kin-
dergarten and grade one
pupils of St. Boniface, school
went by bus to the London
Regional Children's Museum
'also seeing the Hallowe'en
exhibitions, which they .all
enjoyed.
Peter Corri_veau has
returned to Calgary after a
10 day visit with his parent,
Mr. & Mrs. Nap Corriveau.
Wives of the Lion's club
members are now out
canvassing for the Canadian
National Institute for the
Blind from now until the end
of October. So please be
ready with a donation when
they call on you!
The family of Ferd and
Alice Haberer were home for
the weekend, visiting and
helping out their parents, as
they are feeling doing much
better.

in Woodstock this year said
they had a good time.

Directors Conference in the
States.
