Hold Rally Day service at
Carmel Presbyterian church
Rally Day Service was
held in Carmel Presbyterian
on Sunday with Young
` people taking part. David
Skea led in the responsive
Hensall
Bertha McGregor
reading and Donna Taylor
and Janet Hoggarth led in
the Scripture readings. Rev.
Kenneth Knight spoke to the
Sabbath school boys and
girls on Robert Raikes "A
Man of God", and delivered
a message to the
congregation following the
Commission of leaders and
teachers. Mrs. Harry Moir
presented the following
diplomas and seals; let year
Diploma: Angela Volland,

2nd- year seals: Karen
Canip1 IIe , Mindy Bell, 3rd
year seal: Scott Bell. 4th
year seal: Angela Bell,

Bell received a Bible and
diploma for 8 years. 10th
year seal: Donna Taylor.
The Ushers and Usherettes

The choir sang the anthem
"Morning Has Broken"
under the direction of Mrs.
Robert Taylor.

conducted worship service at
Chiselhurst on Sunday and
baptized EIIzaibeifi Ann,
daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Don
Kerslake. The choir sang the
anthem "How Great Thou
Art". Sunday September
28th the anniversary service
will be held at 2:30 p.m. with
Rev. Robert McMullen as
guest speaker. A male
quartette will render
selections during the ser-
vice. Personals
service at-Hensall United
Church on Sunday, Sep-
tember 21 with Dr. Ralph
Topp at the organ. The ten
voice choir sang "A Prayer
of St. Richard of Chichester"
and the children's story was
about "Following the
Leader".
The sermon consisted of
thoughts on the "The
Parable of the Hidden
Treasure".
Next Sunday, September
28th, the Sacrament of
Baptism will be celebrated
postponed from Sunday,
September 21, and the
Offical Board will be
meeting on Wednesday
evening, September 24.
Greeting at the door on
Sunday was Charles Cooper
and ushers were Ross Veal,
Eric Mansfield, Cecil
Pepper, and Bob Drysdale.

Halifax, they were able to
have a delightful visit with
Miss Donna Forrest who is
working at Dalhousie
