There will be an annual meeting to be held in Wingham September 24 at the town hall. Hockey registration was held Satur- day and tonight (Wednesday) from 7 to 9 p.m. There will be family passes for hockey again this season at $12.00. The group is going to try 4 Hensall Bertha McGregor ringette for the girls th s year. There will be a minor hockey dance on October 18. Next meeting to be held September 22 at 7 p.m. Please come. Good attendance There was a very large attendance at the United Church Sunday morning when .the congregation observed Christian Educa- tion Sunday and the opening day of the Sunday Church School. During the service the - Sunday School teachers were presented and install- ed. Teachers for the Sunday school this year will be: nursery department, Pam p Scotchmere and Starr U Jesney; kindergarten c department. Cathy Geiger and Dana Bozatto; primary E department. Heather v Forrest and Marilyn c Pepper; junior department, t Joyce Pepper and Sharon t Beaver; intermediate G department. Sharon Wurm; v senior department, George W Parker and Pat Cook. Mrs. Irene Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Johns of Exeter was a guest and gave .an interesting report of the highlights 'of the convention she attended in Kingston in August. Mrs. Nola Love president of zone eight gave an in- teresting address and in- stalled the officers for the next term. Presiding will be: president. Mrs. Ruby Bell; first vice president, Mrs. Eileen Rannie; second vice president, Mrs. Carl Payne; secretary, Mrs. Irene Davis; treasurer, Mrs. Dorothy Brintnell; and pianist, Mrs. Alf Ross. Nancy Moans and Billie, Henry and Marie Wilds, Alma Witmer, Kay Cockwell, Nora Dogan, Pat and Ann Wilds and family, Kevin Wilds, Dianne and Ron Wilfred visited Mrs. Wilds. Rev. Bishop conducted the church service with Mrs. Kirk accompanying at the piano. Men's high bowling score was Neil Regan 194 and ladies' Mary Parlmer 122. Attend church at Kintail A number of members of Carmel Presbyterian Church attended a con- gregational service at Camp Kintail on Sunday with Rev. Kenneth Knight conducting the service followed by a noon luncheon ,and social time. - Unit One Hensall UCW held Mrs. Walter Spencer resided for the September 2 meeting of Unit One of the CW of Hensall United hurch.
