Correspondence received
by the Ratepayers was read
by secretary Anne Tillman,
and included the topics
Access to the river banks
east of the highway 21 bridge
and the proposed marina
thereon; signs wanted for
`McGregor Park' to show the
way to the public
washrooms; and a plea to
stop the growth of the village
in order to stay free of in-
creased garbage; sewers
and water and more
policing.

river banks on all related
properties.
Warren Knight of the

Land. Even though deeds
may read to the high water
mark, the Ministry sees no
difference between the high
and low water mark.
At this point, President
George Fellows refused to
allow any more discussion on
the river flats topic.
Gary Davidson from the
Huron County Planning
Board, stood up and stated
that he had been invited to
attend and speak on the topic
of the proposed marina and
the work currently taking
place east of the bridge.
To sum up Huron County's
view, the request for a
zoning, change for the
marina was refused, as a
balance of all recreational
activities (boats, fishing,
swimming, hiking) is to be
