After two innings of play,
the pitchers and catchers for
each club were exchanged
with the Zurich battery going

Rabies epidemic
The rabies epidemic in
foxes is 'still rampant in the
Varna area. Foxes are seen
frequently, both alive and
dead. On Monday afternoon
there was one in the north
end of the village, but it ran
into the corn before anything
could be done about At. A
white later, another one was
reported around buildings
north of the river. Children
should be warned to keep a
sharp lookout for them.
Hopefully, everyone with
pets has had them vac-
cinated.
