Agricrews not Huron -Perth Agricrew is well underway for another year./The crews have been at work for more than three weeks and they have aquired lots of practice at such Jobs as stone picking, painting, hoeing vegetables, spraying milkweed, haying and cleaning barns. There are three crews working in the Huron -Perth area this summer. Members cf - the crew working out of the Wingham-Dungannon are are; Foreman - Debbie Armstrong, and Crewmembers - Lila Stewart, Diana Leddy and Janice Robinson. In the Clinton-Seaforth area `crew are; Foreman - Dave Townsend, and Crewmembers - Cathy Van Ninhuys, Darlene Hoogenes, and Jeff Leeming. And the crew working out of the Exeter -St . Marys area Friedsburg Days Plans are well underway for Dashwood's annual celebration of its heritage. Friedsburg Days, which this year will be held on August 1 and2. Once again, organizers have lined up a full slate of events including the talent show whichwill be held ,on the Friday evening. , FolloWing the talent show, Miss Friedsburg 1960 will be crowned. Last year's Miss Friedsburg was April Gunnes8 of Parkhill. �atgenderway Saturday noon with the parade which this year has as a theme 2,000 and 1, At 3:30 the first test of strength gets -underway with the arm wrestling contest. Publicity chairman George Tiernan said • those wishing to participate in the arm wrestling can register Saturday until 3 p.m. A couple of hours later at 5 p.m. the tug-of-war takes place with Tieman reporting that Mt. Children will also be able to display their physical powers Tieman said, as on Saturday there will be some sporting' events for the younger folks, possibly in the form of a bicycle race. Also in the afternoon, a pet show will be held behind the community centre. In the evening a'bingo will be held in the community centre. As in past years, sauerkraut and sausage will be the featured foods while on Iiday and Saturdays the Bavarian Garden will be open. Pastor and Mrs. Mellecke and Paul also attended where Pastor Mellecke was a counsellor. Jacqueline Lynn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Brown Parkhill, was bap- tized by Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Restemayer and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Restemayer spent a week of good fishing at Inverlochy last week. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Restemayer joined them for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Taylor, Kitchener, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Rader, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ken McCrae spent last weekend in Meaford with relatives. They returned home by Richmond Hill and brought the latter's. sister, Mrs. Norman Evans to spend the week with them and Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Tieman. She returned home with her son Thomas and daughter, Mrs. Morton Charles, Sunday. A family dinner was held at the Tieman's Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ken McCrae and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hoffman attending. They were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ford and Kenneth, London.
