AS EVE
With presents for me.
He has a big green sack,
That he carries over his back.
Ile puts all the presents for
me,
Under the decorated
Christmas tree.
He fills my stocking,
Without any talking.
He climbs back up the
chimney,
Leaving some presents for
me.
He gets in his sleigh,
And goes up, up and away
Then doesn't come back till
next year.
CHRISTMAS STORY
By Lisa Turnbull
(;rand Bepd P.S., Grade 3-4
I remember the Christmas
that we were away. My sister
was five. I was seven. My
sister had waited a long time
for Christmas.
All she wanted was a cab-
bage Patch doll. When we
headed home my sister was
getting anxious. When we
pulled in our .drive way I
thought she had a heart at-
tack but she didn't.
We ran downstairs. We
could not find our stocking.
We forgot to hang them up.
