South Huron Rec Centre with
a score of 308.
Ernie Ross was the run-
nerup at 289 followed by
Charles Heady 262. Phil Hern
262 and Harold Rowe 224.
Thursday's men's winner
was Marshall Dearing recor-
ding a score of 352. Next in
line came Lorne Marshall 316,
Charles Tindall 268, Phil Hern
233 and Howard Johns 226.

Waxers draw
with St. Marys
In the Shamrock hockey
league novice division Sun-
day, the Exeter Waxers and
St. Marys played to a 2-2 tie.
After St. Marys had taken
a 2-0 lead on goals by Greg
Matheson and Kris Ruppel,
Sean McCann fired a pair of
successful shots for the Wax-
ers to square the score. Both
came on unassisted efforts.
Pee Wees Lose
The Exeter pee wees were
on the short end of a 6-3 score
to St. Marys in a Shamrock
league game played in the'
Stonetown, Wednesday night.
In the first period, Rob
McLelland shot the Exeter
club into an early lead on an
unassisted effort.
St. Marys roared back to tie
the score later in the opening
period and three times in the
second to move ahead 4-1.
Captain Dan Schiedle and
Rob McLennon each scored
twice.
Late in the middle stanza.
Janie Bedard completed a
three-way passing effort with
captain David O'Connor and
Rob McLelland to cut the St.
Marys lead to two goals.
In the third period, Dan
Schiedle notched two St.
Marys goals to up his game
production to four and the
final Exeter score came as
Rob McLelland- converted a
pass from Dave Dalrymple.
Bantams win
The Exeter bantams scored
an impressive 5-1 victory over
St. Marys in a Shamrock
league game Wednesday in
Exeter.
The only goal of the first
period came from the stick of
Jeff Kints on 'a three-way
passing effort with Larry
Lewis and Jon O'Connor.
Early in the second frame,
Kints scored again with
O'Connor providing the assist
before Bob Allen notched the
only St. Marys score of the
game.
Late in the second period,
Jeff Dalrymple fired the
fourth Exeter goal with
assists going to Steve Ander-
son and Jeff Hannah.
In the third period, Jon
O'Connor finalized the Exeter
scoring on an unassisted
effort.
Midgets win
The Exeter Midgets edged
Goderich 4-3 in a Shamrock

After Goderich counted the
first goal of the game, the Ex-
eter youngsters roared back
with four straight goals and
were able to hold the visitors
to two more to gain the close
victory.
Brian Quinn notched the
opening Exeter goal on an
unassisted effort and Shawn
Larder was 'the Goderich
marksman as the first period
ended 1-1.
eve Pym converted a
pas from Tim Moore to put
the 1 als up by one and then
Bud Richardson and Bud
Ward scored in quick fashion
with Mark Morrissey, Dave
Russell, Steve Pym and
Moore assisting.
The final Goderich scores
were counted by Richard
Roddy and Jim Beattie.
Crunchers lose
Ttie Exeter Crunchers
dropped a 2-1 decision Satur-
day to Goderich in atom
houseleague play.
Mark McDonald fired the
only Exeter score on a pass
from Allan McFalls.
Andrew Scott was the
marksman for both Goderich
tallies.
Molting Hawks
get big win
The Exeter Molting Hawks
scored a 9-4 victory over CFB
London Monday night in
oldtimers hockey league
action.
The Molting Hawks took a
first period lead and were
never headed.
Keith Ahrens was a double
scorer for the Exeter club in
the opening session with
singles being fired by Jim
MacDonald and Bob
McDonald. Bill Chipchase
picked up two assists and
Walt Tiedeman, Bob
McDonald and goalie Glenn
Stire each helped set up
scores.
The second period goals for
the locals were notched by
Jim MacDonald, Scott Burton
and Bob McDonald. Assisting
were Jack Chipchase, Walt
Tiedeman, Jim Russell, Pete
McFalls and Frank Boyle.
Adrens and Bob McDonald
completed the Molting Hawks
scoring in the closing frame
with Jim MacDonald, Bill
Chipchase and Jim Pfaff get-
ting assists.
In a recent lucky ticket dram
sponsored by the oldtimers
hockey team, Marven Wein,
Crediton, was the winner of a
glass hockey stick, Ross
Haugh, Crediton won a robe
donated by Looking Good and
a trivial pursuit game was
won by Barb Consitt of Varna.
