visit "down under"

A good evening was,
reported by the many who at-
tended the annual pot luck
supper at the Presbyterian
church in town last Sunday.
After a sing song of
Chriatmas hymns, with
Wayne HHindmarsh at the
piano, Rev. Maureen Walter
introduced Diane Eagleson
who showed pictures, with a
commentary of her recent
trip to Australia and New
Zealand.
Then, after a short inter-
mission, another member of
tl)e congregation, Evelyn
McNaughton told of her trip
to the northern countries and
showed pictures of Norway.
Sounds like a pleasant way to
spend an evening!
Speaking of pictures, all
seniors in town and surroun-
ding area are invited to attend
the showing of three films at
the Craigwiel Activity Centre
on Friday evening, 7:30 p.m.
Won't you join us?
Why not do your Christmas
shopping at the Christmas
Bazaar, Friday afternoon 2-4
in the Craigholme Nursing
Home Auditorium?
Sunday last two members
of the Lioness club attended a
Cabinet meeting in London.
Four members of the club at-
tended a gold party at Grand
Bend.
Congratulations to Mr. and
Mrs. Stephen Strople
(Margaret McCallum) who
were married in the
Presbyterian church Satur-
day afternoon.
Mrs. Ron Sypher (Barbara
Wiley), Mississauga visited
recently with her mother,
Mrs. Margaret Wiley.
Craigholme residents were
treated to two hours of slides
in November. In mid-
November Evelyn
McNaughton showed her
slides of U.S.S.R., Finland
and Sweden. Then this past
week for the second hour, she
showed Norway and Den-
mark to finish her trip.
The residents and many
others look forward to seeing
Evelyn's slides with her
humorous commentaries
