We will always remember the way she looked And the way she spoke and smiled, The little things she said and did Are with us all the while. She meant so very much to us, That nothing we can say, Can tell the sadness in our hearts, As we think of her each day, It dosen't matter the day or year, There is always a heartache, always a tear, Memories don't fade, they just grow deep, For the one we loved, but could not keep. No one knows the grief we share When we all meet and you're not there. Life goes on, we know that's true, But not the same - since we lost you. Still loved, still missed, still very dear. Lovingly remembered by Gord and Bev and family, Wayne and Joan and family, Joyce and Don and family. Ruby and Rob and family. 46' CRAWFORD — In loving memory of a dear mother and grandmother, Fern Crawford, who passed away November 16, 1970. If we had one lifetime wish, One dream that could come true, We would pray to God with all our hearts, For yesterday and you. If teardrops were a stairway, And memories were a lane, We'd walk all the way to heaven Dad, And bring you home again A thousand times we needed you, A thousand times we cried. If love could have saved you, Dad, You never would have died But God took your hand and we had to part, He eased your pain and broke our hearts, You fell asleep without good-bye, But memories of you shall never die. Loved and missed so very much by wife Betty, son and daughter- in-law Tom and Phyllis, grand- children Tom, Terry and Tracy. 46c FORAN — In loving memory of a I beloved son and brother, Robert Ronald Foran, who passed away into eternal rest November 14, 1974. Always remembered by Melvin and Evelyn. 46nc Backing off foreclosures Agriculture Minister John Wise has announced that Farm Credit Corporation (FCC) has suspended most recovery actions, including those in progress, until January 15. "The suspension is being put.in place to give us, as a new government, some time to study the problems farmers are facing. We also need time to determine what programs can be made available which would offer reasonable solutions," ex- plained Wise. "However, we must realize that some borrowers are still going to face foreclosure, in Spite of all efforts. This two - and -a -half month period will simply ensure that no farmer is forced off the farm while we are studying the issue, added the Minister. Recovery actions will con- tinue in cases where the farm has been abandoned, where bankruptcy has been declared, where there has been a voluntary transfer of title or q(lit claim or where recovery action is initiated by another creditor forcing FCC to protect his security. "This action is not a reflec- tion on the Corporation's ad- ministration practices. I'm aware that FCC has main- tained a compassionate ap- proach to its borrowers. In some cases the Corporation has carried arrears for several years. However, I believe the problem merits a period of intensive study, so that we can be sure that every proposal for a solution has been given full consideration, said Wise. This suspension will affect some 300 borrowers where recovery actions are in pro- gress and another 60 bor- rowers where recovery action was being considered prior to January 15. The Farm Credit Corpora- tion has over 79,000 active ac- counts. Some 18 percent of these are in arrears. send it,Mt.
