The church was filled for the Remembrance Day Service with the Legion Legion Aux- iliary, and youth groups of the community as special guests for the annual Remembrance Day parade. "The men and women who died, and the suffering that was endured was not only to keep the best of the old world from being over run by the worst, but also in order to build a world that would be worthy of the best visions men ever had, a land where their children, and children's children could live in love and peace," Mr. McDonald said. He closed the sermon with a very meaningful poem, with background music, called "The Man We Never Knew". Mary Brintnell greeted the congregation and the ushers were Murray Wareing, Mur- ray McGregor, Fred Elder and Mark McGregor. Following the service the congregation followed the parade to the Cenotaph for the laying of the wreaths.
