Grand Theatre plans open house
The Grand Theatre will
throw open its doors for a (un-
filled day of non-stop ac-
tivities with The Grand
Theatre Open House on Sun-
day, September 16, from 10:00
a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Joining
forces with the Grand to
launch the 84/85 season is
CFPL 980, broadcasting from
the Theatre's lobby
throughout the day.
The entire family is invited
to take part as the theatre
conducts back -stage tours,
discussions with actors and
directors and "behind they
scenes" workshops in the
wardrobe and property areas,
already buzzing with activity
as the fall season approaches.
There will be balloons and a
make-up corner for kids and,
to top it all off, live entertain-
ment all day long. CFPL 980
favourite personalities, Keith
Moriarity and Jim Liabotis
will be on hand from 10:00
a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to provide
up-to-date coverage of the
day's activities.
Current subscribers to the
84/85 season are encouraged
to visit the theatre and pick up
their tickets while enjoying a
sneak preview of the year
ahead. A Grand Seat Sale is
