Ken and Ortha Baker spent a few days camping last week in the Elora area at the Grand River Conservation Gorge. Joining them in the campout were Marg and Bob Reid, Bayfield, Elsie and Jake Reder, Bayfield, Orval and Mae Schilbe, Thamesville, The Baker's stopped in Strat- ford on their way home to visit Ken Jr. and Carol Baker and girls. The occasion was to celebrate three birthdays, Ilugh, Marjorie and Annie. In the social time we played euchre. Some of the men were amused at skunking the ladies in a game. All enjoyed a potluck lunch, birthday cake and ice cream.
