back from west

Sherrie Stade and Joan
Finkbeiner returned home
from a enjoyable 16 -day trip
to the western provinces of
Alberta and Saskatchewan
where they visited several of
Sherrie's relatives. They
spent a day at Banff and up to
Sulphur Mountain. Some
other interesting spots were
Japanese Gardens, Writing -
on -the -Stone, Qu'apelle Valley
and the R.C.M.P. Barracks
and Museum in Regina, Sask.
Mrs. Frieda Wilson return-
ed to her. home in New
Westminster, B.C., Saturday
after spending three weeks
with her sister and family,
Melvin, Gertie and Sherrie
Stade.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hoff-
man. Mrs. Ken McCrae and
Mrs. Mervyn Tieman spent
Thursday at Richmond Hill
with their sister, Mrs. Myrta
Evans.
Plan to spend some time at
Friedsburg Days.
Vacationers with Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Gaiser and girls
were Mr. and Mrs. Don
Gaiser last week were Mr.
and Mrs. Jim Poland, Camp-
bellford; Tom and . Diane
Poland, Dylane and Shannon,
Hornell Heights, North Bay
and Rev. and Mrs. Bruce
Seebach, Hamilton.
Saturday evening callers
were Mr. and Mrs. Irvin

Dania Thurman, Stacey
Rader and Kristine Schade
spent four days at the Girl
Guide camp, Rock Glen.
Mrs. Frieda Callihan, Wat-
ford, was a guest with Mr.
and Mrs. Joe Zimmer and
family.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Nagel, Susan and Chris
Baynham, Oshawa, were
visitors with Mrs. Elda
Koehler and Mr. and Mrs.
Bob Hayter and family.
Mrs. Hilda Rader has
returned home after spending
some time in London with her
daughter and family, Mr. and
Mrs. Colin McGregor and
other family members. While
there she celebrated a
birthday.

tre committee have been busy
recently. First. a great deal
was done by Evelyn
McNaughton and Margaret
Wilson assisted -by others on
the committee, in preparing a
float for the Gala Days
parade. which paid off as
"Granny's Parlour" caught
the eye of the- judges.
