Everyone present en- joyed a delicious ham and turkey smorgasbord com- plete with all kinds of fancy salads and desserts. Ladies of the Auxiliary helped out with the residents and serving their guests along with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Risi. Cecile Meidinger spent from last Friday to Tuesday with her sister, Lucille Brisson, in St. Thomas. Mrs. Joan Corriveau is presently spending a few days with her daughter, and son-in- law Michelle and Dan Durand at RR 3 Bayfield and helping out with new little baby, Danielle and her big sister Giselle. Anyone interested in get- ting their hearing tested can do so at the town hall on W dn�Y, May 30 (today) from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with qualified technicians from provincial hearing con- sultants there to help. Free of charge. Once again Thursday, May 301s the monthly paper drive. Be sure to put out on the curb already in tied bundles by 8:30 p.m. The grade eight students from St. Boniface School en- joyed their end of the year camping trip from last Wednesday to Friday at Camp Sylvan along with teachers Mr. Lorne Rideout. Mrs. Eileen Consitt attend- ed the annual meeting of the United Church London Con- ference held last week at Alma College, St. Thomas, and the graduation service held at Pauline McGibbon Hall, Ontario Police College at Aylmer when 17 near ministers of the United Church of Canada were or- dained, In a very impressive gervcle. Several relatives of Sister Francis Borgia (Ducharme) were on hand to help her celebrate her 60th anniver- sary in Religious Life as a Nun in London on Saturday, May 26 at the Mother House, Mount St. Joseph. Sister is 82 years old and very dedicated to her profession. After a special Mass for other sisters as well, who were celebrating other years, a reception and luncheon were held in their honor for relatives and friends. Denny and Rose-Apn Overholt and family attended the baptismal of their grand- son Kevin Daniel on Sunday, May 27 at Mt. Carmel Church with Godparents Kenny Overholt, Zurich and Heather Mudge of Strathroy. Follow- ing the ceremony 18 guests enjoyed dinner at the home of his parents' Danny and Don- na Overholt, Exeter. Birthday gifts were presented, courtesy of the Ladies Auxiliary. Bingo was played on Friday evening, followed by refreshments. Sunday was family day here. Thanks to the sunny day, we had a large turn -out of family members and friends to enjoy dinner with parents and other family members. We are very ap- preciative of the musical talent who supplied entertain- ment during the afternoon.
