At the United Church, Rev.
Bruce Pierce was in charge of
the Worship, Sunday morn-
ing. Taking the text for his
sermon from the Scripture
Lesson, taken from Acts
9:26-31 the minister entitled
his message "The Unforgot-
ten Debt".
This referred to Paul, there
were three people whom Paul
never forgot what he owed to
them (1) Ananias, for being

With the announcement of
financialaid($12,000) fromthe
federated government, the
Grand Bend Harbour Com-
mittee will have a full com-
plement of student staffers to
assist boaters from the har-
bour building on River Road
this summer.
As a result of last year's ef-
forts by summer staff in
assisting touring boaters, an
increase of 50 percent in
boaters is expected. Last
year, records showed that
over 700 tourist boats docked
in Grand Bend.
The launch ramp, for small
craft, has been repaired and
extended and will now accom-
modate launching for three
boats at a time.
In cooperation with the
Grand Bend and area
Chamber of Commerce, the
harbour group is pressing
Grand Bend business
operators to give equitable
exchange rates between
Canadian and American
dollars.
Grand Bend Cruising Club
members have agreed to
work with area Ontario Pro-
vincial Police in water search
and rescue work during the
boating season. Contacts will'
be made through the radio at
the harbour building.

Canada Health Day will be
celebrated on May 12, 1984.
This year's theme is "Behind
the Scenes in Health Care."

dian Public health Associa-
tion and the Canadian
Hospital Association, the pur-
pose of this day is to increase
the awareness of the general
public and the health sector of
topics related to health.
The 1964 theme provides th'
community with a unique op-
portunity to learn more about
its health organization, its
role, and iLs services. It is also
a chance to become better ac-
quainted with its administra-
tion, funding, programs,
research projects and many
more aspects. In recognition
of Canada Ilealth Day, the
Huron County Health Unit in-
vites all interested people to

office during the afternoon of

In her sermon the Rector
enlarged on the Epistle of the
Day, saying "Peter tells us
that by the Great Mercy of
Jesus Christ we have been
- born again to a living hope
through the Resurrection and
to an inheritance which is im-
perishable, undefiled, and un -
fading. Flowers were placed
in the church from the funeral
of Mrs. Sydney (Edith) Jer-
myn by her family in loving
memory.
