VANDERWIEL — In loving
memory of a dear son and
brother, Gerard Herman John
who passed away 9 years ago
April 6, 1975.
Please God forgive a silent tear,
silent wish that he were here.
here are others, yes we know,
ut he was ours and we loved him
so.
Nine years ago we had to part
With one we loved with all our
heart.
The wound is deep, it will not heal,
Only those who have lost know
how we feel.
If we could speak with hitt4 today
Laugh with him in the same old
waAnd hear his voice and see his
smile,
Then life indeed would be
worthwhile.
They say time heals all sorrow
And helps us to forget
But time so far only proved
How much we miss him yet.
The gift of love, God's greatest
gift,
To cherish and to treasure,
As long as life and memory last,
We will love him forever.
Loved, missed and always
remembered by Mom, Dad,
brothers, sisters and their
families. 14c
