President Stefan Pertschy

An important contribution
to the good fortune of the past
year has been the conscien-

in the care and maintenance
of their properties and posses-
sions. The company extends
their congratulations and ap-
preciation to all policy holders
for their high performance in
the past year.
During the year, directors,

knowledge gained adds to the
efficiency and improved ser-
vice of the company.

and financial loss, smoke
detectors and fire ex-

ed at cost from the office or
agents. We will continue to

A sincere appreciation was
extended to the volunteer fire

he has enjoyed the past year
as president and thanked the
agents, directors, staff and
management for their service
rendered to the policy holders
in the past year.

By -Law No. 10-1983
The purpose of By-law No. 10-1983 which
amends Zoning By-law No. 28-1974 is to effect
changes to certain regulations contained within
Zoning By-law No. 28-1974 regarding liquid
manure storage facilities. These changes are
the result of Council's consideration of the
regulations with respect to their
reasonableness and effectiveness. These
changes are as follows:
By-law No. 10-1983
Section Number Change
1 This section substantially revises
the requirements for liquid
manure storage facilities. The
new requirements include an in-
crease in the total storage period
to 240 days and new provisions
regarding drop pipes and the fen-

ed to the Administration provi-
sions in the By-law which
stipulates the information re-
quired by the Zoning Ad-
ministrator of the Township when
an applicant applies for a
building permit Jor a liquid
manure storage facility. This in-
formation will permit a com-
prehensive assessment of any
potenfial environmental impact
related to a proposed storage
facility.
