Christmas Eve day we were on our way from Ottawa to Hensall to spend the holidays with some of our family The drive from Strat- ford to Exeter was "harrow- ing" to say the least! We just couldn't make the last few miles to Hensall and were directed to the Legion. Once there we were provid- ed with hot coffee and food. Reg Maclionald did - a wonderful job in helping everyone to settle in and after awhile he asked if we'd like to spend the night with Ralph Wareham and his family. They had called the Legion and volunteered to accom- modate some stranded travellers.
