He was not working fast enough to finish all the orders. Suddenly, in a flash little blue, red, and orange things popped up. They were elves. It was 12:05 now. The elves were right at work. They read letters, cut wood, and laughed and played. By the time it was 9:00 a.m. every toy was finished. The elves were hungry by this time. All the elves wanted pancakes and toast. So, Mrs. Claus made pancakes and toast. "Santa is still sleeping because he has a long journey," said Mrs. Claus. "Are we going with him?" asked the elves. "No, you will not be going with Santa Claus," replied Mrs. Claus. He will take Vixen, Donnor, Prancer, and Rudolph. That day when Santa woke up he found it was almost time to go. So, he got cleaned up, got his reindeer ready and was off. Every child got what they wanted so it was a terrible time getting presents where they went.
