A Christmas secret
By Christy Little
McGillivray Central - Grade a
Christmas is the time of
year that younger children
enjoy. Santa brings lots of
toys to them also. Most
children go out skateing on
the ice, or toboganing and
some older kids go skiing.
It's a great time for parents
too. they buy you gifts. Great
fun putting up christmas
trees. Santa has his thousands
of elves that make lots of toys.
And we must not forget the
most famous reindeer of all,
"RUDOLPH." Have you ever
heard the song that goes:
"Rudolph the red nost
reindeer, had a very shiney
nose. And if you every saw
:lim you would even say "It
glows." All of the other
reindeer used to laugh and
call him names.
They never let poor
Rudolph join in any reindeer
games.
Then one fogie Christmas
eve santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so
bright won't you gide my
sleigh tonight."
0
Then all the reindeers lov-
ed him as they shouted out
with glee rudolph the red nos-
ed reindeer you'll go down in
History!"
I just say to myself and I
think how hard it was on
rudolph. But it ended up
great!
P.S. I hope that this story
cheered you rip!
My Feelings About Christmas
By Shelley Uniac
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel - Gr. fi
On Christmas eve I heard the
bells a ringing,
and the elegant choir singing.
I saw little girls in lace and
white
and boys in suits as black as
the night.
The snow was falling to the
ground,
and it hardly even made a
sound.
We went to church to learn
about Jesus and the manger,
and how he should never be a
stranger.
For Jesus is eternal life,
and satan is the evil knife.
So stay with Jesus and you
will see,
What a great person you can
really be.
The Christ Child
By Tracy Day
J.A.D. McCurdy - Grade 5-6
Bringing,
lots of Christmas cheer.
Singing,
for the world to hear.
Ringing,
for the child so dear,
who was born,
through joy and fear.
Sharing,
the joy of those we meet.
Caring,
:or others who we greet.
Bearing,
gifts for Him so sweet,
laying them at His tiny feet,
first time for them to meet.
Dove,
as pure as fallen snow.
Above,
the manger and below.
Love,
softly the winds will blow,
gently the lights will glow.
for all the world to know.
