SIGHTS, SOUNDS
By slvkhay
Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Red bells are ringing,
People are singing,
Lights are flashing
People are having a smashing
time,
When Christmas comes near,
I think of deer,
Mary is ful of joy,
Because she had a boy,
I saw fluffly white snow,
Did you see fluffy white snow
I don't know.
NIGHT BEFORE
By Michelle Turner
Huron Centennial
Twas the night before
Christmas
The house was a mess.
If you thought it was a
junkyard,
That's a pretty good guess.
We kids were nestled,
All snug in oup bunk.
The presents from last year.
Were tucked in.a trunk.
Then all of a sudden,
I woke with a jerk!
I heard a strange noise,
And just went bezerk?
I went down stairs,
And what did 1 see?
Santa and mummy,
Kissing under the tree.
If daddy saw them,
What would he say?
He'd probably shoot Santa!
No presents Christmas Day!
So all you mummies
Listen out there!
We kids want presents
So you'd better beware.
