News from Greenway
Sy ANNE WAITER
Hallowe'en night passed
quietly in our area with many
spooks making their annual
rounds.
I visited last week with Ian
and Joanne --Pentecost of
Guelph. I learned that when
you live in an apartment you
don't speak in a natural voice,
you whisper. That is the case
if you wish to be on good
terms with the
superintendent.
Sunday we were dinner
guests of Grace and Carol
Newey, London. Other guests
were Mr. and Mrs. Neil
Trevithick, Amy and Nathan
and Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Trevithick, Brinsley, Doug
and Cathy Walper. Shipka,
and Elizabeth Walper,
London.
Anniversary Services were
held at Grand Bend United
Church Sunday. At the morn-
ing service Rev. Dr. George
Goth spoke and Rev. Robert
Peebles was the speaker at
the evening service. The
Greenway people were well
represented at both services.
A successful bazaar was
held by the Anglican Church
ladies Saturday.
The ;reenway Willing
Workers held their November
meeting at the home of Bill
and Carolyn Woodburn with
18 members present. After a
period of study, a tasty lunch
was served and a time of
fellowship followed.
