Dr. J.G. Dunlop advised the
meeting that all members of the
medical profession were giving their
full support toward the project. He
said 75 percent of those patients
taken to city hospitals could be pro-
perly treated in a South Huron
Hospital.
The meeting voted 100 percent to
build the hospital.
A way to banish measles
Measles could be eradicated if
every child were immunized. While
the best time to immunize your child
is at one year of age, a law requiring
this procedure for school entrance,
as recommended by the Canadian
Paediatric Society would certainly
reduce the number of cases. New
Brunswick and Ontario have
adopted such legislation.
