Diana Verlinde and Wisnu Baskoro were united in mar-
riage September 24, 1983 at St. Boniface Church, Zurich
with Father P. Mooney officiating. The bride is the
daughter of Marcel and Christine Verlinde, of Hensall
and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Soetarto, In-
donesia. The maid of honour was Joanne Verlinde,
sister of the bride and flowergirl was Jenifer Denys,
cousin of the bride. Best mon was Jim Fevery, friend
of the groom. Ringbearer was Jimmy Denys, cousin of
the bride. Diana and Wisnu are now residing at R.R.
3 Lucan.

MR. AND MRS. LARRY KELLER
Charmaine Rita Staples, daughter of Gordon and
Catherine Staples, of Seaforth and Lorry Frederick
Keller, son of the late Herb and AlmedaKeller of Zurich
were married Sept. 24 at St. James Roman Catholic
Church. Matron of honour was Lorraine Noakes and
bridesmaids were Vicki O'Rourke and Elaine Heenan.
Shannon Keller was junior bridesmaid. Best man was
Wayne Keller and Gerry Pennings and Jerry Staples
were ushers. Junior groomsman was Robbie Maloney.
Father Caruana officiated. After a honeymoon trip to
the Maritimes, the couple will reside at RR 3 Zurich.

Institute at Hurondale
has learning experience
Hurondale W.I. held their
meeting October 25 with
president Fern Dougall open-
ing with the Ode and Mary
Stewart Collect. Minutes of
last meeting were read by
secretary Anne Bray.
The area convention was
held in St. Marys October 27
and 28 with a number of ladies
attending. A report of the fall
rally in Bluevale was given by
L. Alexander.
A report of the Harry
Strang night held in Kirkton,
with Hurondale catering, was
given by Marion Dougall. Our
invitation by Elimville is
November 9 held in Usborne
school.
Gladys Miller and Lois
McFalls are leading a course
on rug braiding for interested
members. Hurondale will
entertain and provide lunch
for Zurich rest home in
December.
A motion was made by M.
Dougall to give $50 to the Blue.
Water Rest Home.
Upcoming dates to
remember are November 21
for a microwave cooking
class at S.H.R.C. With classes
at 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. and
November 22 for 4-H Achieve-
ment night at the Rec Centre.
Olga Davis was chair lady
for a program called W.I.
Learning Experience assisted
by her committee. An in-
teresting motto was given by
Olive Thomson. Mary

ladies meet
The October meeting of the
Women's Ministries of the
Pentecostal Church was held
at the home of Mrs. Ruth
McLaren with 15 members
present.
The meeting was opened by
singing `Praise God from
whom all blessings flow",
with Mrs. Idena DesJardine
presiding at the piano. Prayer
was then offered by Mrs.
Estrella Finkbeiner.
The roll call was answered
with scripture verses contain-
ing the word "Thanks". The
minutes of the last two
meetings were read by Mrs.
Shirley Prouty.
The Missionary financial
report was read by Mrs. Mary
Blanchard. A letter was read
by Mrs. Edith Millar from a
missionary in Quebec. A mis-
sionary reading on "Israel"
was given by Mrs. Jean Jol-
ly. As a special number a
poem entitled "Resting" was
read by Mrs. Edith Millar.
The message of the after-
noon was given by Mrs. Hilda
Eizenga taken from Matt.
14:30, about Peter's attempt
to walk on the water and his
need to call for help. Prayer
time followed when many
prayer requests were prayed
about.
A delicious supper was
served by Mrs. Dorothy
Cooper and Marion McLean
assisted by the hostess.

charge of Communion Ser-
vice Sundry morning. Mrs.

Rev. Derrick spoke to the
children on Forgiveness and
Prayer and continued his ser-
mons on prayer. The flowers
on the altar were placed there
in loving memory of the late
Mrs. Shirley Dickins by the
family.
