They were married November 4, 1933 at James Street Parsonage, Exeter and have resided on a farm on Hwy. 83 near Dashwood (RR 1, Hay P.O.) all their married life. They rais- ed six children, Lloyd, Crediton; Donald, Dashwood; Shirley (Mrs. Ken Richardson), Mount Forest; Douglas, Woodstock; Harold, Grand Bend and Patricia (Mrs. David Watson), Exeter. They have eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family of Gordon and Violet cordially in- vite all relatives, friends and neighbours to an open house held in honour of this special oc- casion at Dashwood United Church on Sunday, November 6th from 2:00 to 5:00.
