FINAL CUSTOMER — Mrs. Audrey Albiston, RR 1 Zurich, got her purchases free
from Canadian Tire store dealer Gerry Walker. She was the last customer before
• the doors were closed at the old location.
SIGN IN, PLEASE — Area CTC dealers and some special guests received a sneak
preview of the new Canadian Tire store in Exeter, Monday. Karen Hodge, right,
was on hand to make name tag¢ for the visitors, who were greeted by Carol
Walker. Mrs. Walker is shown with three representatives from Frayne Chev•Olds,
developers of the new facility. From the left are Mike Williamson, Rick Frayne
and Ray Frayne.
JUST LIKE HOME — No, this is not a picture of a modern residential dining room.
It's the spacious lunch room at the new Canadian Tire store in Exeter. Kathy Topp
was on hand to serve wine and cheese for guests at a preview of the facility on
Monday but management announced that those items would not be a regular
feature for coffee breaks.
STILL HAVE TIRES — Canadian Tire may be a place where you'll find more than
tires, but there's still plenty of the latter available, especially in the spacious
warehouse section of the new Exeter store. Employee Melanie Lovell is shown
in the tire storage section.
CONTROL CENTRE — This is the control centre at the
new Canadian Tire store. It will house the accounting,
ordering and computer operation for the facility.
