Varna 4-H choose club name
The Varna 4-H Club held
their second meeting at San-
dra Turner's on September 26
at 7:00. We opened the
meeting by repeating the 4-11
pledge and motto. All nine
members were present.
We did some exercises
taught to us by our leaders
Kate Keys and Sandra
Turner. If you repeat these ex-
ercises daily they will keep
you in shape and fit.
After we completed
everything we played two
games, Stand Up for Nutri-
tion and the Smart Shopper
Game. Janet Coleman was
the winner in the Smart Shop-
per Game.
We discussed a name for
our club and finally chose
Glamour Gals, suggested by
Julie Consitt.
The third 4-H meeting of the
Glamour Gals was held at the
home of Kate Keys on Mon-
day October at 7 p.m. Linda
Postill was our special guest
and demonstrated different
styles of curling irons and
blow dryers. Different kinds
of shampoo were then
discussed.
Linda showed us how to
wash, dry and style our hair
properly.
We decided to hold our next
meeting on Monday October
