Marie Elizabeth Cunningham and Kenneth Peter
Holland were united in marriage July 9, 1983 at St.
James Anglican Church, Clandeboye with Rev. Edward
Attwell of Kanata officiating. The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cunningham, Clandeboye. Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Holland are the parents of the groom. The
maid of honour and friend of the bride was Debbie
Scott. Bridesmaids were Elaine O'Neil, sister of the
bride and Kathy Holland, sister of the groom. The best
man was Pat Holland, brother of the groom. Guests
were ushered by Glenn Cunningham, brother of the
bride and Robert Holland Jr. brother of the groom. The
couple honeymooned in Vermont and are now residing
in London.

Lodge held their meeting Oc-
tober 5 with Noble Grand
Sister Audrey Rowe presiding
assisted by Vice Grand Sister
Barbara Whiting.
Sister Audrey cordially
welcomed all those in atten-
dance to her last meeting as
Noble Grand. Everyone par-
ticipated in the "Draping the
Charter" ceremonies in
memory of Past Assembly
President Hazel Galbraith
and Sister Carrie Norry.
Barbara Whiting reported
the visiting committee had
been very busy the last few
weeks. Fiftieth wedding an-
niversary wishes and con-
gratulations went out to
Mabel and Len McKnight.
"Get well" cards were sent
to Irene Fleming, Russell
Morley, and Bill Thomson,
who had all been in the
hospital. A sympathy card
was sent to Sister Ev
McAllister on the passing
away of her beloved father.
Junior Past Noble Grand
Cheryl Edwards thanked
everyone for pies and their
help provided for the fall fair
again. There were seventy-six
dinners catered on the Fri-
day; it was a success this
year and a report will he
given at the next meeting.
Year end reports were
given by Audrey Rowe and
Barb Whiting. The ladies led
the lodge in a most exciting
busy year, thus creating
much enthusiasm and enjoy-
ment throughout the year.

MR. AND MRS. ROGER O'BRIEN
Denise Elaine Rau and Roger Scott O'Brien were united
ir1 marriage September 17, 1983 at St. Peter's Roman
Catholic Church with Rev. Father J. Bensett officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John Paul and Barbara Rau,
RR 2 Zurich and the groom is the son of Eugene and
Shirley O'Brien, Zurich. The matron of honour was Terri
Brandon, sister of the bride and bridesmaids were
Cheryl Pole, Patti Rau, sisters of the bride, Claire Rau,
cousin of the bride and Deb Regier, sister of the groom.
Flowergirls were Vicki Rau, cousin of the bride and
Amanda Regier, niece of the groom. The best man was
Tim Bedour, friend of the groom and guests were
ushered by Gary Rau, brother of the bride, Ken Regier,
Greg O'Brien, Rick O'Brien, brothers of the groom.
Dwayne McNab, friend of the groom was the
ringbearer. Following a honeymoon to the north,
Denise and Roger are now resising at RR 2 Zurich.

Thursday evening there
were 133 Estarl students (go-
ing to the ministry) awarded
$500 each. Friday evening the
Installation of Grand Officers
was held for the coming year.
At this time Bernice Boyle of-
ficially started her duties as
District Deputy of this
district. A hospitality night
was held in her honour on
Thursday.
The Worthy Grand Matron
is Joanne Coulter from
Algona Chapter, Sudbury and
her project for this year is

CELEBRATE 40 YEARS — The marriage of Kenneth
McCrae and Gertrude Hoffman of Dashwood took place
October 20, 1943 at the United Church manse,
Dashwood and was performed by Rev. Clayton Becker.
They were attended by Christine Covers of Meaford,
sister of the groom and Harry Hoffman, brother of the
bride. Mr. and Mrs. McCrae have one daughter Bonnie
Heather (Mrs. Bill Ford) and one grandson Kenneth of
London. In honor of their 40th anniversary Bonnie, Bill
and Kenneth entertained the brothers and sisters of
their parents to an anniversary dinner, October 9, at
Oakwood Inn Grand Bend. Guests present for the oc-
casion were from Ottawa,Belleville,Peterborough, Clin-
ton, Meaford and Dashwood.
Elimville 4-H elect

Homemaking club held their
first meeting September 5.
They decided on a name
"Elimville Energizers". The
project they are working on is
"Looking Great Feeling
Great".
The election of officers was
as follows: president Beatrice
Hunter, vice president Vicki
Parsons, secretary -press
reporter Catherine Johns.
The lesson was short. It was
mostly an organization
meeting and getting to know
one another.
The leaders of Elimville I
are Nancy Smith and Barb
Skinner. '
Meeting 2 was held on
September 28 at the Skinner
residence. After the pledge
and roll call they had a
meeting about nutrition and
fitness. They played a game
"Stand up for Nutrition" and
had a few minutes of exercise
in Ole "Health Hustle".

United Church, Hensall with Rev. Kenneth Knight of-
ficiating. The bride is the daughter of Gord and Marion
McNutt, RR 1 Zurich. The groom is the son of Mrs. Bev
McAuslan, Kingsville, Ontario and Mr. Bob McAuslan,
Bayfield. Miss Carol Ross, Hensall was maid of honour
