From shoes to sewing,
Clinton has the shops
Wuerth'. Shoes
Ray and Willa Wuerth have shoes for the entire family.
Their stock ranges from men's work boots to dress shoes,
children's sneakers to fashionable boots and fine purses.
The Wuerth's have been in the shoe business for several
decades, beginning with an Exeter shop. Ray's father was
the first owner, now Ray and his wife are second
generation owners and their son John helps in the
operation as the third generation. They expanded their
business to Clinton a few years ago and now keep area
people well shoed for Miles around.
Mary's Sewing Centre
How about dusting off that old sewing machine and
paying a visit to Mary's? She has just about every type of•
material available to suit your tastes.
Mary Divok and her three employees can help with your
sewing questions. They can sharpen scissors and help
repair the sewing machine or show you a newer model.
With pattern names like Simplicity, Butterick and Style,
beautiful materials and the latest fashions, there's no
excuse not to start sewing. So how about it?
Clinton Cleaners
Ray and Mary Garon can keep you clean. They're the
hard working owners of Clinton Cleaners. Whether it be
your fine blouse, your wool suit, fur coat or wedding dress,
the Garons can clean it with care and efficiency at their
Beech Street location.
