August 20, 1983, Harold Wesley Broderick of Exeter in his 67th year. Dear husband of Helen (Flynn) and dear father of Bob of London. Brother of Pearl Abbott of Welland, Lily Smith of Hensall, Ethel MacPherson of Strathroy and Arthur Broderick of Exeter. Mr. Brockerick was predeceased by one brother Raymond in 1974. Loved by grandchildren Leslee, Aimee and D.J. Friends called at the Hopper• -Hockey Funeral Horne, William Street, Exeter where the funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 23. 1983. Interment in Exeter. Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the Broderick family. 34c HORTON — At Huronview Home, Clinton on Friday, August 19th, 1983. Mr. Harry Walter Horton, formerly of 176 Oxford Street, Hensall in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Annie Maria (Page) Horton (1979). Mr. }lorton is survived by several nieces. nephews and a cousin. Mr. }lorton was the last surviving Veteran of World War 1 belonging to the Hen - salt Branch 468 of the Royal Cana- dian Legion of which he was a life member. He also served with distinction at the Battle of Vimy Ridge. He was also a member of the Association of Cyclists Brigade 181st Battalion. Rested at the Hensall Chapel of Michael P. O'Connor Funeral homes, 118 King Street. Hensall where a combined Legion and funeral ser- vice was conducted on Sunday. August 21s1 Private interment followed in Ilensall Union Cemetery. 34c DEATHS— VANDEWIEL — At St. Joseph's Hospital on Wednesday, August 17, 1983, Henk Vhndewiel of 311 Central Avenue, London and formerly of RR 2 Grand Bend in his 72nd year. Surviving are brothers and sisters all in Holland. Dear friend of the Vandenberk families of Grand Bend and the Adrian Van Bynen family of Denfield. Mr. Vandewiel was employed at Victoria Hospital, London prior to his retirement. Rested at the T. Harry Hoffman and Sons Funeral Houle, Dashwood. Funeral mass held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Grand Bend on Saturday, August 20. Interment Pinery Cemetery. Father R.
