Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Miller
have returned home following
MR. AND MRS. DENNIS KELLER
Mr. and Mrs. 'Dennis A. Keller were married on July
16, 1983 at Sacred Heart Church in Ingersoll. The bride,
Clasina Augusta Maria Hendrickx (Ine), is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. G. Hendrickx of the Netherlands. Den-
nis Allan Keller is a son of Erlma and Milton Keller, Ex-
eter. Attendants were Ann Aarts and Barbaro Aarts,
cousins of the bride and Rene' Wright, niece of the
groom, was flowergirl. Groomsman was Matt Aarts.
Ushering were Leon Hendrickx, brother of the bride and
Daryl! Keller, brother of Dennis. Following a short
honeymoon the happy couple is residing in London,
where Dennis is employed as a computer technician.
Ine is a secretary at 3M.

MARRIED 55 YEARS Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Dixon,
RR 2 Lucan celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary
on July 25 with a family dinner at the Three AAA See
Restaurant. They have two sons and three daughters,
Bill of RR 2 Lucan, Hiram of Claresholm, Alberta, Shirley
(Mrs. Anthony Marlene), RR 2 Crediton, Pauline (Mrs.
Arthur Miller), Zurich, and Mary (Mrs. Jock Hogan), RR
3 Dashwood. They also hove 15 grandchildren and 3

More than five million adult
Canadians were on weight
reduction diets at some point
during the last year, accor-
ding to results of a recent
Gallup Poll. The figure
represents 30 percent of the
Canadian adult population.
The survey, commissioned
by G.D. Searle & Co., was
conducted across Canada and
represents a sampling of over
1,000 people 18 years of age
and older.
According to the poll, Cana-
dians on weight reduction
diets are a persistent group in
their battle with the bulge.
More than half the group
have been on weight reduc-
tion diets more than once dur-
ing the past year and at least
a million Canadians went on
three or more of these diets
during the period.
The report noted that 11
percent of the adult Canadian
population - more than two
million people - said that they
were constantly on weight
reduction diets.
